If you saw the Democratic Convention this past week along with the commentary, and if you paid attention during the 2016 Presidential Election season, you'll notice two things.
Women of Color are celebrated for sticking together and getting things done, whereas White women tend to come from all backgrounds and have a less homogenous experience of the world. Some are extraordinarily privileged and can't imagine how others have fallen on hard times or married abusive spouses, etc.
Tonight's show examines the lenses of judgment formed against females and how standards of disempowerment are set up for women in their various communities and among their peers. We will discuss why it's so difficult for White women to cooperate and the reasons for many of us that unhealthy competition begins to form in early childhood sabotaging our progress in general.
