In the early 1900's , there was an all Black community in Greenwood Oklahoma ( which is a suburb of Tulsa ) that was known as Black Wall Street. The residents of this community built their own wealth and were financially independent. On May 31st 1921, White rioters attacked the residents of this community killing them and burning their homes and businesses to the ground leaving 300 people dead and 9000 people homeless. After that, this type of accomplishment and dedication to the Black Community has not been duplicated. Is it possible to recreate a Black Wall Street? Its a fact that 42 million Blacks have the spending power of 1.1 Trillion dollars annually. Can you imagine if we invested 10% back into the community? Lets talk about it!!
