Fash Feathers With Walesa Norris Special Guest Talia Diaz

My name is Talia Diaz from New Orleans and I'm the owner of Cubana D Couture clothing line. I started my company in 2014. I have been in love with fashion since I was a small child. My greatest inspiration comes from my grandmother.  Being around her growing up, watching her sew these beautiful gowns, really inspired me. I learned to sew by hand when I was 7, making clothing for my dolls. Currently my sales are online only, but I have plans to expand and open a few stores in the future. I haven't opened a location yet because I'm still working a fulltime job. Juggling my business, job and being a single parent has been a bit of a challenge.  I want to make a well known brand out of my company, clothing for all women of all shapes and sizes. I have plans to feature my items in fashion shows. I'd like to bring to fashion some of the things I feel are missing.
