8pm CST-8:20cst [ SWEET ANGEL ]------Sweet Angel has just returned from San Francisco where she was a winner in the 2010 West Coast Blues Hall Of Fame And Awards Show. The Awards show is presented yearly by the Bay Area Blues Society and the City of Oakland, CA. According to the awards committee "Sweet Angel made such a great impression as a vocalist and saxaphone player at the Jus Blues Music Awards in Memphis, Tennessee that she won this award hands down *********************************************** *********************************************** 8:30CST - 8:50PM CST [ SERGIO DAVIS ] *********************************************** *********************************************** While Sergio was producing a local artist, the legendary pimpadelic funk master, Morris Day (best known as the break out star of the movie sensation Purple Rain and the legendary group The Time) was in town filming a movie. While the artist’s sister was in the mall during this time, she ran into Morris and gave him a copy of Sergio’s demo. Two days later, Morris contacted him resulting in a long-time business relationship and friendship. In 1997, Morris signed Sergio to a three year contract as a producer and songwriter with Morris Day Entertainment; giving him the boost he needed to launch his own independent career as a recording artist.
