I know you saw the video where the father had his child walk 5 miles, in 36 degree weather. Was it too much? No days when we think of discipline, we are told it's too risky to go to far. That we are limited on what to do when our children act up? Society has made abuse something to easy. They made the 1-800 number as acceptable and accessible as grabbing a glass out the cabinet. Yet, they have also painted a picture of disrespect that has become the normal, as if chastising our children is something to apologize out, when it is not. It's so sad when we allow our children to forget their manors at the dinner table and it's ok. It's sadder to allow our children to have disruptive behavior especially at school and brush if off as, they were just Expressing themselves. What I see is a genuine need for structure, handed over to the trash, overflowing with results that lead and breed sad cases in life.
