Lionel Ntasano was born in Burundi and raised in Zambia. He attended university in the U.S.A, Kenya and Switzerland; almost quitting college to be a member of a music band. Most days, he wishes he had actually had the guts to go through with it. This observation has now provided him with the understanding that the pain of regret hurts much more than the pain of failure. Thus he went into culinary school to feed his soul ultimately opening a small beach resort called NONARA BEACH RESORT, where he is currently the general manager. Nevertheless, he still did not believe that he had reached the place he wanted to be, regardless of the small career success. Emptiness was still rampant. As a voracious reader since childhood, he decided to have a go at writing. Surprisingly, the process of writing Greener on the Other Side significantly helped him to grow and mature as a person. Thanks to this experience, he has mended difficult relationships with siblings and friends. He truly believes that he has become more understanding, and he is glad to say that this is what the book is all about; understanding, patience and forgiveness.
