Coach Jarvis
Coach Mike Jarvis ended his high school and collegiate coaching career in 2014 with an overall head coaching record of 684-351.
Coach Jarvis led Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School in Cambridge, Massachusetts to three consecutive Division I State Championships while compiling a near-perfect record of 77-1, and coaching future Hall of Famer, Patrick Ewing.
In 25 years as a Division I head coach he guided Boston University, George Washington University, St. John's , and Florida Atlantic to 14 post season tournaments that included two trips to the Sweet Sixteen, one to the Elite Eight, and the NIT post season Championship in 2003.
He is the only coach in basketball history to win 100+ games as a high school coach and 100+ games at three different universities.
In 1993, Mike Jarvis Sr. and JR. made NCAA history when they became college basketball's first African American coaching team. That same year they led The George Washington University to their first NCAA appearance in 30 years and a trip to the Sweet 16.
In the summer of 1993 Coach Jarvis led the USA 22 and under team to the World Championship in Spain.
