PREMISE: Other people’s solutions may not be our final solution. Likewise, other people’s conclusions, just very well may not be our final conclusions. This is not to negate their respective solutions and conclusions. The objective of these two opening sentences is to segregate African American hearts, minds, and souls from being unnecessarily dependent upon another people’s independence.

We, the former Africans who are now citizens in America, constitute a new people who have yet to fully develop into the human potential that our Creator planned for us. Every human being is created to ascertain and express “certain inalienable rights”. However, African Americans too often lag (follow) in areas of life that we should be leading – if nowhere else, we should be leading within our own communities. Yes, leading in all of the businesses, political life, religious life, community development, and definitely in education within our community.
