Our long national nightmare is finally over. No, I am not talking about the Republican campaign for the Presidential nomination, but the NBA lockout that for a time flirted with the disastrous cancellation of the 2011-2012 NBA season.

Now that the labor issues are settled, and (most of) the wheeling and dealing is done, the National Basketball Association is set to embark upon its season with a full slate of marquee games on Christmas day.

And since the Association represents probably the most interesting, compelling, and downright fun set of characters, storylines, and athletes in professional sports today, the HR Happy Hour show in partnership with The 8 Man Rotation, (Kris Dunn, Tim Sackett, Matt Stollak, Lance Haun, Steve Boese),  will devote the final show of 2011 to a full-on, no lame attempts to tie sports back to work or HR, preview of the upcoming season.
