People say that you should be able to recover from a broken relationship after 6 months or so. Is that true for everyone though?
People live on their own emotional timeline and while some may be able to thrive after a breakup, a loss of life, rejection from others, embarrassment, being fired from a job or another personal loss, others may brood for months. Do you?
Have you ever known someone that couldn't seem to "Just get over it?" Can you do it very well? How long is too long to get past feelings of sadness or hurt? Is it a sign of weakness for a person to express that they are unable to move on from a relationship? Is it a sign of strength to seem as though you are never affected by losses? Can anybody be that way really?
Surely we've all known someone that seems to brood over things that may seem so petty to others. Could there be something from their past that makes them act in this matter?
