This show will be about the right time to teach your children to defend themselves. I definitely believe in self defense but I think it absolutely has to be done in a responsible manner. It seems pretty clear that we have moved past the days of "If he hits you then hit him back!" We have witnessed that responsibility and irresponsibility differs dramatically from person to person and family to family but who do we turn to make sure our children can defend themselves from bullies and assailants without making them into bullies and assailants.
Many Americans teach their children how to use guns and other weapons at an age that disturbs some folks. Is this/can this be a good thing? Are you comfortable with this? Do you think that children should learn physical self defense before gun safety or alongside gun safety? Should they learn either in your opinion or should they be shown non violent ways to deal with those who may want to attack them?
