When we become aduts, our responsibilities increase. We create bills to pay, fall in love, we give birth to children, buy homes, take care of people, give charity, help people out, go to work, start businesses, care for pets, make promises, etc, etc, etc. Are we just following an example of what we've seen other people do, or do we create our own priorities?
What makes us decide what to start and stick to in our lives? What makes us continue to do things even if they aren't working out too well, or at all at the time? When we say that we have to do what we have to do, what makes us prioritize things over other things? Are we doing it because we've seen someone be successsful at these things?
How do we decide to keep things in our lives instead of throwing things away? How does love become important? How does family become important? How does friendship become important? Work? Play?
How much do other people determine what we do in our lives? A lot? A little? Not at all? What do you think?
