What if someone who you loved and respected was terminally ill and about to die soon. They told you that they left a diary and they needed you to destroy it immediately after they die, and they need you to destroy it without reading it, because there are things in there that they don't want anyone to ever know, including you. Would you do it? What if you read it and found out that they had killed one or more people and the murders had gone unsolved, or that someone was wrongly convicted of it?
