Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy have changed. We think you'll like them better this way.
For years,we as Black American's, have been denied citizenship, evolving only to become merely second class citizens... we have had to endure the institution of slavery from 1619-1865; nearly one hundred years as victims of Jim Crow laws, and even today, we have been discriminated against, brutally attacked by the very ones who have pledged to "protect and serve", ie, law enforcement officers, treated unfairly through our judicial system and legislators.
We are tired of being here longer than any group in this country, other than Native Americans, yet still remaining one of the most disenfranchised people in this nation. We nowdemand real change not mere gestures and symbols of change.
