Loss and the subsequent grieving process is perhaps the most universal psychological experience on the planet. And yet, it is still a journey that frightens and confuses many of us. In this episode, Susan Lager, a psychotherapist and relationship coach, co-hosts with Ashley Davis Bush LCSW, a well known psychotherapist in southern NH, and author of the best-selling books, "Transcending Loss", and "Shortcuts To Inner Peace". Together they explore the nature of loss and healthy grieving, and how the experience can go beyond pain to “transcendence”. They discuss the “transcending loss model” developed by Bush, with useful tools to help grievers experience how loss can be a transformational springboard for growth.
