As a young teenager, Donna Buchanan ran away from home to escape her frustrations from life. Like many teenagers the need for independence away from parental guidance and rules, becomes a conflict in many households.
Donna's story is one of an emotional rollercoaster, which ended with her being convicted of murder and serving thirteen years in prison. Later she found therapy and healing in helping greyhound dogs who needed care. Her story, and book is about discovery and accountability that every teenager and adult needs to hear. She is a member of 'The Streets Don't Love You Back'.
