Dr. Kara Morillo is a feminist scholar, educator, speaker, and facilitator. She is committed to promoting diversity, gender equity, and social awareness through the power of literature and mindful language. She earned her PhD in English Language and Literature at the University of Maryland, with a certificate in Women's and Gender Studies. Her work focuses on amplifying literary voices from underrepresented groups in the United States.
