Honesty, transparency, and accountability are cornerstones of my life and, therefore, of my campaign. Conservatives need an honest leader who will improve the lives of average Americans, one who will keep campaign promises and be accountable to voters. Like many of you, I believe that many politicians are out of touch with the needs of everyday citizens and no longer represent us. As your voice in Washington, D. C., I will serve you and not large corporations or major donors. In an effort to return power to voters, my first piece of legislation will be to allow the recall of elected officials who renege on campaign promises or who support legislation that benefits political and economic elites over the common good of South Carolina residents.

My position of integrity and accountability will face vigorous opposition by the entrenched political system, dedicated to preserving the status quo for those who benefit from the labors of ordinary citizens. Mine is a grassroots effort and relies solely on the support and determination of private citizens who insist that we will have a voice in the decisions that impact our futures.
