Joe and Scott Rosner, Director of the Sports Management Program at Columbia, bring you a special episode from Radio Row leading up to the Super Bowl. They are joined by Eric Allen, Senior Reporter for the New York Jets, a veteran who has been a part of the team since 2001. In this episode, Eric sheds light on the development of the Jets' media department and gives us a behind-the-scenes look at the management and operations of the department. He also explains the role of an NFL team's social media department during the Super Bowl. During this episode, Eric shares his thoughts on the relationship between traditional and new media platforms, as well as an examination of how fan engagement has changed over time. He also reflects on some of the challenges he has faced in his career. In the end, he delves into the opportunities for international marketing for the Jets.
