“Our heroes are (people) who do things which we recognize, with regret, and sometimes with a secret shame, that we cannot do. We find not much in ourselves to admire, we are always privately wanting to be like somebody else. If everybody was satisfied with himself, there would be no heroes.” ? Mark Twain
Tune in tonight at 7p/8p (ct/et), for "Most of My Heroes don't Appear on Stamps" Is the idea of heroes something left for the movies? A fantasy? Too superficial? It seems lately the world is engulfed in war, poverty, senseless death, with other negative images in our own "backyard." Perhaps the need of heroes is something needed now, more than ever. We'll examine the origins of heroes from ancient Kemet (or Egypt) and their influence of super heroes of today, and how we can begin to tap in our own "superpowers."
