Throughout history black people have come from being Kings and Queens to having slaves and becoming slaves to fighting for freedom out of slavery in America. Through it all, the moniker of black has stood, but with a price. From pride to self-hate, wealth to poor, and love to loath, the moniker of black has survived it all, but has it become a burden to some people? Today, The Middle Men will discuss the aspects of how the moniker of black may have become a burden to some. With being a person of color, what are some hardships one may encounter? With experiencing these hardships, does that taint the perception of how people think and the way they treat others? How hard is it really for a race to get beyond color? From a Psychological standpoint, how much does this play in a person's way of thinking? Does being a darker hue equates to being less? Can black businesses survive being only black? Why does being black automatically bring on the thought of improverishment?
