DeSantis cannot get away with this despicable political stunt of flying migrants on the Texan border to other parts of the country, without notice and, potentially, by deceiving the migrants themselves. Reports show that DeSantis lured migrants onto the plane with false promises of employment and other benefits and then left them in Martha’s Vineyard. The extent to which DeSantis lied to the migrants will determine if he broke the law.
