The House In The Middle Of The Street is a winter gothic tale written about a House, its occupants, and a yearly visit by a boy and a girl on New Year’s Eve.
Jennifer Sklias-Gahan wrote this tale to be listened to in the vein of the ancient tradition of story telling she grew up with in her Greek Family. She narrated The House in the Middle of the Street as well as performed the music used in its sound design and its opening and closing theme.
This House exists timelessly in the shadows of the family secrets held by the occupants of the house, touching each life that lives there.
Yearly the house is visited on the very last day and night of the year by a boy and a girl who knock and knock at the door asking to be invited in.
