Today on The Neil Haley, Neil "The Media Giant" Haley and Kim Sorrelle, author of Love Is will interview Tawana Williams.
Tawana, a Thalidomide baby born without arms and impaired use of her legs has never let her disability stop her. She has mastered her life in so many ways and has defeated the odds time and time again. Faced with many challenges and obstacles that most people take for granted; Tawana learned how to figure out a way to do some of life’s simplest things such as; eating, cleaning, typing, drawing, and being an independent/self-sufficient woman. These tasks seemed monumental, yet her resolute determination transcended self-pity. She endured years of physical pain, emotional scars, rape, and the rejection of family members and peers. She withstood childhood pain only by the strength of a mother and a grandmother’s love.
