In 2007 Michelle Watson was nominated for an Emmy Award  for a documentary she directed while in Guatemala called "Struggling Souls In Guatemala". Although she didnt win in 2007, she later won an Emmy Award for her cinematography in "Bullets In The Hood, A Bed- Stuy Story". He camera skills are amazing. Her documenataries have been honored at the most prestegious film festivals, both Tribeca and Sundance and screened all over the world including the continents of Europe, Africa and Asia. Michelle Watson later ran a non profit for youth organization for 3yrs in East New York Brooklyn where she taught educators how to use media in the classroom. During this time she taught students how to produce documentaries while creating a campaign for students to use film as an outlet to express the opression they go through in their daily lives, a campaign that still exist in 5 NYC public schools today. Recently Michelle started her own production company where she has produced a Reality Show pilots for VH1 in which she followed in filmed 5 Millionare men, documenataries for PBS and music videos. Michelle's work in progress film "Brooklyn Boys" features hip hop artist Big Daddy Kane, Maino, Push Montana, Joell Ortiz and many more. This film will be released in the summer of 2012 and is expected to be in Sundance film festival in the winter of 2013. Michelle has worked closely with rapper Push! Montana and Wink Loc who is now repping CTE with Young Jeezy and together they are currently working on promoting their labels risk watch.
