Marcello Rollando talks Politics with Congressman Donald McEachin

Donald is a 1982 graduate of American University and a 1986 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law.  While at UVA, he met his future wife, Colette, who is currently a prosecutor with the Richmond City Commonwealth Attorney's office.  They married in 1988 and are the proud parents of three children. 

Donald is a lawyer and partner in the law firm of McEachin & Gee.  The firm, specializes in personal injury, and has offices in Richmond, Henrico, Hanover and Mecklenburg. 

Donald was the Democratic nominee for Attorney General in 2001 and currently serves as state Senator representing parts of the City of Richmond, a small part of Hanover, including Ashland, Henrico County, and all of Charles City County. In this role he serves as Democratic Caucus Chair.

Donald received his Master of Divinity from the School of Theology at Virginia Union University in 2008.
