Linda McLoughlin Figel, {pages}, a bookstore

Our guest this morning is Linda McLoughlin Figel, one of the owners of {pages}, a bookstore.

{pages} is an independent, full service bookstore located in downtown Manhattan Beach and was founded in 2010 by three local, passionate bibliophiles - Patty, Linda & Margot - with the goal of bringing a quality independent bookstore to the South Bay.

Today, {pages} is the place for book lovers of all ages, where reading, meeting and discussing books is a way of life. They offer a carefully curated selection of new fiction, non-fiction, children’s, cooking, surf, coffee table books and bestsellers. They have a knowledgeable and caring staff who can match any reader with the perfect book.

They regularly host author events and book signings, weekly story times, and four monthly book clubs. {pages} provides complimentary gift wrap, and gift cards are available for that hard to select for reader.

This morning, we’ll learn about the series of Publisher’s Rep Nights that have been taking place the last few Thursday nights, with the last one happening tonight at 6 p.m.
