BOYD AND LUCINDA WITH DASIANAE INTERVIEW COMING 6-23-2018

Dasianae is an 11 year old rising 6th Grader, 3rd child and only daughter to David & Shawntina Cross, living in Virginia Beach, VA. She is also a Navy child. Dasianae has been singing ever since she could talk. Her passion is singing for The Lord. She loves to sing, act, praise dance and hopes to one day as a child to have her own talk show. Dasianae goes around singing at different church events, community events, birthday parties and at school. She volunteers every Sunday after church at 2 different nursing homes, singing for the residents (and giving parties & gifts to them on special occasions). She recently had the opportunity to open up in concert for the Prince of Gospel, Pastor John P. Kee. She along with her friend does the Motivational Moment at church (an inspirational video encouraging our youth). She has been cast as the lead in a stage play, “Why Chance It, When You Can Change It,” where she is the daughter of an abusive father to her mother. She is apart a girls empowerment program called The Crowned Academy (www.thecrownedacademy.com). She is currently in the National American Miss (NAM) Pageant, where she will be competing for the title of NAM Miss VA Preteen.
