It is cynical politicking, which is all that Joe knows.  I think people will not like him on the left if he supports Jews, but if he stands with Hamas he will be seen as sstanding with terroists. The one question that unravels them, every time, is: “What kind of Palestinian state do you want?” They don’t know.
