 Andrea met many people who were, like her, starting a business later in life. She soon began to notice a startling trend. Although these baby boomer entrepreneurs had fabulous business ideas and years – decades even – of business experience and knowledge, they didn’t know much about marketing. Even worse, marketing scared the pants off them. Too many of the same people were even more scared of social media. They weren’t quite comfortable with technology and thought using social media was just too complicated. It was a case of people figuring you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. Jana has been an Entrepreneur for 19 years in a variety of businesses including Owning/Operating a Restaurant, Real Estate, and a Distributor with SendOutCards. At an early point in marriage we began fostering children. I can't even begin to say how many children I've had through my home. Hind sight says I should have kept a special book with a short story of each child! Fostering children led to adopting, first my oldest daughter and then more recently my second husband and I adopted a sibling group of 6 children, 5 still at home. We also are a host family to a language student from Lackland Air Force Base. That experience has been more rewarding than we ever thought imaginable.
