Elle also a woman (duh, I know), and I wrote this novel because, well, because it was therapeutic to do so; however, I am publishing this novel to give a glimpse into why a young woman with many choices might choose the hell of abuse. It is a common choice that becomes an insidious handicap for many women because it is difficult to discuss and even more so to understand. This is me discussing it so that more might understand it.

Yes, I am terrified. It is terrifying to write a book and even more so to put it out into the world. My story might be embraced or rejected. It might tantalize, overwhelm, offend, or bore, and it is hard to insulate one's self against the opinions of the masses. I think, however, that one often regrets inaction much more than action.
