Helen is branded as a “giver” and mentors many small, minority, women and Veteran-owned businesses in overcoming challenges and looking at scenarios creatively in order to still march toward their small business goal and make a difference in the marketplace in which they serve. Helen has volunteered for over 7 years for Government Procurement Connections (GPC), a nonprofit organization that helps small, minority, women-owned and Veteran businesses make connections with government agencies – Federal, State, local, large primes, plus obtain information on upcoming contracts.
