The Girl With The Whiteboard on Surviving The Shift!

This is a show you won't want to miss!  The Girl With The Whiteboard (Lauren Lawson) is on an amazing mission!  In her words, here is her story and project:

"We live in a society that is often materialistic and self-serving. The misbehaved get rich and famous, while the genuine struggle to get by. I aspire to begin a movement that will help people understand that others have struggles similar to their own, making loneliness obsolete. By sharing some of my light, I hope to ignite strength in strangers to find motivation to achieve all that they ever needed or wanted. This will serve to implant a hunger for success and as a reminder to never forget one’s own worth. We have the power to champion our own causes. Today is the day.

I have worn many hats in my life and have various responsibilities on my campus. However, I yearn to make an impact on a larger scale. And, I feel that is something we should all do- Never sell yourself short and aim for the best. Granted, life can be brutal and make our journey difficult; we all bear our own wounds and torments. But, we all have the ability to change our circumstance. Therefore, I want to express that while life may not seem fair or worthwhile at times, we have the power to choose to make every second count."
