Living Your Dream  / Hedonist Archetype

Special guest, Deb Karpek, owner of Peaceful World Reiki!

This week on Let’s Talk Archetypes, we’ll continue with the Hedonist Archetype. What is your relationship to the physical world? Are you living and enjoying your highest potential? The Hedonist appreciates the gifts of life.

This week I’ve invited Deb Karpek to join me. Deb is a joyful hedonist who loves and appreciates her life and all it has to offer. She enjoys all experiences with joy – taste, touch, sight, and sound. How does she do it? She’ll share with us her journey, how she made her dream into reality – the joy and the challenges that got her to where she is today.

Deb Karpek is an Usui and Karuna Reiki Master and the owner of Peaceful World Reiki.  For the last eight years she practiced and taught Reiki full time.  She is also a writer, and a woman in recovery. She is a regular contributor to Reiki News Magazine and has published stories in the Chicken Soup for the Recovering Soul series. She is an advocate and mentor to women in recovery, through the organization Women for Sobriety.

In July 2012, she realized her dream and moved to the Sedona, AZ area. She works part time at the Reiki Center of Sedona and the Sedona Medical Center, where she is creating a Reiki program in the Radiation Oncology department.

Deb started her path of self-discovery in 2000 and loves to share what she has learned with others, so they too may discover their authentic selves and enjoy life to the fullest!
