A. James Collins is a spiritual teacher and life coach. A church musician who was called to preach the gospel in 1976. His ministry launched February 20, 1977 at the Mount Rose Baptist Church under Rev. Milford L. Kelly in Fort Worth, Texas. 

While matriculating at Bishop College Dallas, Texas & Johnson C. Smith University Charlotte, N.C., he fell in love and married Shebra Gathers of Charleston, S.C.

Called to pastor his first church, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Twin Oaks, PA. in 1980. Served as pastor of the Mount Sinai Baptist Church of Wilmington Delaware., founder and pastor- teacher of the New Covenant Seed Assembly of Wilmington Delaware while attending Eastern Theological Seminary in St. David, PA.

After a brief transition to Philadelphia, PA. to serve as pastor-teacher of New Jerusalem Baptist Church he returned to Fort Worth to pastor the Mount Rose Baptist Church of Fort Worth a/k/a "Mount Rose Church, The New Life Center" in 2000.

He and his wife of over 30 years, Lady Shebra Collins, conduct successful marriage workshops nationwide and created "Reality in Relationships" facebook page and offer marriage and family life counseling. His Christian experience includes being ordained an orthodox priest in the Christian Orthodox Church of America, Denver, CO. Arch Bishop P.
