Pamela McKnight is Public Administration and certification in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University. She serves a Management Service Employee-Program Manager II with Baltimore City Department of Social Services(BCDSS). She provides leadership and manage over 100 staff members; Unit Managers, Team Administrators, Caseworkers to ensure reunification, adoption, and custody, guardianship for children in foster care. Prior to BCDSS, she served in the capacity of a Regional Director with Mississippi Department of Human Services-Division of Youth Services where she managed 20 staff members, both clerical and youth services counselors located in ten (10) counties serving delinquent youth. She developed and implemented several projects to enhance the lives of others. These projects include: a RiseUP! Youth Empowerment Conference, consisting of 118 youth from the Mississippi Delta focused on education, identifying one’s purpose, and community engagement; four (4) Back to School Bash for underserved youth in the local and surrounding communities; and a Job and Career Fair for Bolivar County, Mississippi, of over 230 job seekers. Her prior volunteer experience includes serving on Mississippi Delta Service Corps/AmeriCorps/Vista Program Advisory committee, Leland MississippiHabitat for Humanity, Mississippi Engaging in Greener Agriculture, and Cleveland Chamber of Commerce October Fest. She also served as a panelist for a Lead 2 Edify Girl’s conference ,volunteered with Anne Arundel Toys for Tots. She occasionally volunteers with Agape House of Baltimore, MD and It’s My Time Ministry. She has facilitated alliances and collaborations with schools, churches, businesses, healthcare systems, community- based organizations, policy makers, and community health workers.
