2 Corinthian 4:8-9 reminds us that we are pressed on every side, but not crushed;perplexed but not in despair;persecuted but not abandoned;struck down but not destroyed. Our adversity should not be a surprise, God has told us these things will happen. In addition to warning us, he also gave us instruction on how to withstand every dart,every, wind, and every battle we face.
