Celebrating Earth Day's 40th Anniversary with Rebecca Valentine and Jessica Jones

The Voice of Change...Healing Our Planet, our monthly special, today celebrates the 40th Anniversary of EARTH DAY with Rebecca Valentine and Jessica Jones. Rebecca is an eco geek who lives in Santa Rosa, California. She is the program director for HOW-e, The Green Idea House – a green building demonstration and training center being developed in Sonoma County. She is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and has been a consultant for Longview Education, a green building education firm. Jessica Jones is a student at Santa Rosa Junior College and will share about the wonderful sustainability work she is doing as a student. She's also talk about past Earth Day Celebrations she's enjoyed. Rebecca has an amazing sense of humor and is actively creating her alter ego, the Carbon Confessor, to offer guilt-ridden carbon offenders a kind and generous persona to whom they can confess their carbon footprint. In addition, Rebecca has spoken with MOTHER EARTH and is trying to get her personally to call in for a quick Earthday message, but she's been busy lately.....Join us for this wonderful hour of conversation and fun!
