The Voice of Change welcomes Karen Melton,Prenatal, Birth and Bonding Therapist to the program. The focus for the show is: Listening To Babies. Babies are one of the least listened to members of our society, and they have so much to tell us. We have lost touch with our inner knowing about babies, seeing them as biological, and leaving out what is at the heart of human-ness. We can look at a heart biologically, but biology is useless to explain a broken or wounded heart, or what love feels like. The field of Prenatal & Perinatal Psychology & Health has been listening to babies for 40 years and has a lot to teach us about babies. If early consciousness, sentience, and vulnerability were central to, and included in, the preparation phase, conception, pregnancy, birthing and post-natal bonding period directly after birth, we would be bringing up very different children and adults to take over this world for us. Biography: Karen Melton is a Prenatal, Birth & Bonding Therapist working with babies, kids, adults and parents healing and preventing early trauma from the conception through post-birth phases. She has a practice in the north bay area, and also offers her work internationally through telephone sessions, and working in England. She has recently begun to offer Intensives in California. Her web site is www.HealYourEarlyImprints.com. In connection with this program today, Karen has just launched a new Facebook page called “Listening To Babies” so that we can have a worldwide, ongoing conversation about this important subject.
