The Voice of Change welcomes Sharon Maser. The topic today in honor of Mother's Day is: WOMEN: Stepping Into Their Power. In order for women to step into their power fully, two things need to happen. First, they need to have a pride in their feminine self and create a strong feminine consciousness and secondly, they need firmness or strong resolve resultng in a strong masculine. These two sides must be open and actively balanced. A powerful woman who does not have a strong feminine side will not be able contribute to the things that matter to women. Our focus and our values are oriented to such things as appreciation of life and relationships, connection to our inner life, growth and transformation, celebration and ritual. And these are the things we need to stay strong on for ourself and for the world.
To develop the strength to promote these values in public takes a strong woman. That strength comes from her masculine side - so the masculine needs to be well developed and yet balanced in order for women to be effective in the world.
Sharon Maser has explored many spiritual pathways and religions including Buddhism, Native American, Judaism, Hinduism, Christianity, Religious Science and the Goddess. She's explored in-depth the work of modern teachers Byron Katie, Terry Cole-Whitaker, Marianne Williamson, Shakti Gawain, Marshall Rosenberg, Gay and Kathlyn Hendricks and others. She had her own powerful spiritual and healing experiences and lives from the deepest sense of her spiritual self and divine guidance. She founded the non-profit Women’s School of Healing Arts & Sciences in 1985.
