Your Were Born To Shine with Gene Smith

The Voice of Change welcomes Gene Smith.  He  is a singer/songwriter from San Rafael, CA.  His latest CD is entitled, You Were Born To Shine.  It combines spiritual/new thought lyrics with country music and is the start of a new direction for Gene.  In 1996, when Gene began pursuing his country music career, he, also, began reading many inspirational books by authors such as Wayne Dyer, Michael Beckwith, Sonia Choquette, Deepak Chopra and many more.  In 2009, after having made two independent CDs and not having any major mainstream success, he was inspired by Spirit to take the message from everything he had been reading and to put it into country music.

 Gene writes:  My program, “You Were Born To Shine,” is about realizing that you are a unique expression of the Divine.  You are a Spiritual Being having a human experience rather than a human being having an occasional spiritual experience.  You came into this world with special talents and gifts to serve and add value to the planet.  Your life is meaningful.  You are here on purpose for a purpose.
