Parenting with The HEART: Precious Beginnings

Today on the Voice of Change our program is Parenting with The Heart:  Precious Beginnings. I have a passion for motherhood...I always have and always will!  It's such a SPECIAL time in one's life!

Did you know that much research has been done to understand the life of the unborn child, especially since the 1970's?  The results are extraordinary and show that the unborn child is capable of learning, able to hear, capable of responding to voices and sounds, sensitive to his parent's feeling about him and an active and feeling human being.  Dr. Thomas Verny has been involved in such pioneering research.  During this program I'll share with you some of the stories he writes about in his book, The Secret Life of the UNBORN CHILD.    In addition, are you curious about the language of your little one after she arrives?  We'll also discuss an infants language and I'll share with you various ways of having a conversation with your infant, from my book, Conversation with Infants.  And we'll talk about the use of music...for the newborn. I'll share with your from Deepak Chopra's book, Magical Beginnings, suggested music.  And to end the program I'll share with you 3 basic principles for life with a newborn from the teachings of Magda Gerber, author of Dear Parent.
