"Raising Peaceful Children" is a topic I'm very passionate about and I believe that EVERYONE has a role in helping to raise peaceful children. Over the next several weeks, I'll be sharing with you, various practices which are supportive to "Raising Peaceful Children". They will be on many different aspects of raising peaceful children such as learning to focus on "what's right", core values, special "teaching" moments and how to become centered yourself.  These programs will shorter than my usual programs, ranging from 15-30 minutes. If you are important in the life of a child, I invite you to tune in. If inspired, call in and share an insight or a precious moment you shared with a child.

Parents, of course, have the most influence in raising their children.  However, EVERY interaction with a child makes a difference, so it's important to make every interaction a positive one!  Teachers, doctors, ministers, grandparents, sales people, etc. all have an opportunity to nurture peacefulness for a child.

PRACTICE 2:  Focusing on What is Right!  So often we focus on the problem, not the solution.  I was introduced to this idea some years back with the work of Kurt Wright and his book, Breaking the Rules. Today, we'll focus on our children, and seeing what is RIGHT with them...not wrong.
