Welcome everyone to the Voice of Change.  Today's program focuses on one of my favorite topics...the Art of Mothering.  What does the word MOTHER really mean?  What is the role of a mother? Who does this "name" belong to?  Does it belong to only those who give birth?  Or are "mothers" found throughout society, performing different roles to various people?   Does that role end when a child turns 18 year of age? In addition, I'll share the 10 faces of a "mother" as mentioned in the book by Jasmin Lee Cori, about the emotionally absent mother.  In addition, I'll share with you the amazing story of Loczy, in Budapest, Hungary, where 70 children who were orphaned, some decades back, turned  out to be nourished in amazing ways by peasant women, under the direction of Dr. Emmi Pickler, a remarkable pediatrician.  There were follow up studies done on all the children and they turned out to be very productive individuals in society. All who "mother" are extraordinary gifts to society!
