Fr Paul Smith/Calling God Mother- Sera Beak/The Red Book

At the top of the hour we have Fr. Paul Smith, pastor of Broadway Baptist Church discussing his book Is It Okay to Call God "Mother" - Considering the Feminine Face of God.  Paul Smith challenges the church to biblical fidelity and justice in its worship language.  We'll also ask him to discuss the chapter in his book his publisher made him leave out of his most recent book, Integral Christianity-The Spirit's Call to Evolve, entitled "Leading Change and Causing Trouble"

Wrapping up the show tonight is Sera Beak, The New York Times called her one of the new “role models” for her generation.  She’s the author of The Red Book: A Deliciously Unorthodox Approach to Igniting Your Divine Spark and the forthcoming book, Red Hot and Holy: A Heretic’s Love Story.
