Joan Marler/Gorgons & Lierre Keith/Deep Green Resistance

At the top of the show, Joan Marler, Founder and Executive Director of the Institute of Archaeomythology will discuss Gorgons, a class she teaches at CIIS, SFO.

Following Joan, we have with us the controversial Lierre Keith, writer, small farmer and radical feminist activist.  She is the author of The Vegetarian Myth: Food, Justice and Sustainability which has been called "the most important ecological book of this generation."  She's is also the co-author with Derrick Jensen and Aric McBay,of Deep Green Resistance: Strategy to Save the Planet.  Lierre believes to save the planet, we need a serious resistance movement that can bring down the industrial economy.
