Archaeologist and author, Jeannine Davis-Kimball is with me tonight discussing Warrior Women: An Archaeologist's Search for History's Hidden Heroines.  I first discovered Jeannine's work and her book, Warrior Women, when I was researching sacred sites of Goddess for my Sacred Places of Goddess: 108 Destinations book and I became mesmerized by her work and her discoveries.  Dr. Davis-Kimball specializes in ancient and modern cultures of Central Asia, received her Ph.D in Art History and Archaeology from the University of California, Berkeley and she established the American Eurasian Research Institute.  Listen in tonight as she shared her discoveries about the history of real warrior women, the Amazons, included!  You'll learn who they really were - and yes, they were real!
