In our first hour, Trelawney Grenfell-Muir, author, professor and peacebuilder has been rewriting Bible stories....Cain and Abel, the Garden of Eden, Noah's Ark, to name a few.  She'll share with us the importance of mythology in shaping society, including how rewriting these patriarchal and sexist stories can lead to healing communities and culture and bring us toward gender equality.  We'll also discuss her courageous essay on the Feminism and Religion blog discussing the shame of being a Christian today.

In our second hour, I'm speaking to Annine van der Meer, historian, theologian, symbolist, and author of The Language of Ma: The Evolution of the Female Image in 40,000 Years of Global Venus Art.  We'll delve into the beautiful Venuses, their meaning and function.  We'll learn about the cultures that created them.  We'll tackle how the art is handled in Academia, particularly since Gimbutas' work has been vindicated and there have been retractions from Renfrew and Hodder at Catal Hyouk.  We'll talk about the recent exposition in Anatolia Turkey and the latest discoveries at Gobekli Tepe and lots more!
