Convicted felon turned successful business owner Samuels Morris was born in El Paso, Texas into a military family. They relocated to Mobile, AL after his father’s discharge from the Army in 1989. This was during a time when crack cocaine was booming in the streets. Sam grew up around drug users and drug dealers with very few positive influences. Because of this, the transition from childhood was either do drugs, sell drugs or both, with a small amount that just stayed on the right path to make it out. Sam chose the path of most poverty stricken children-smart child, troubled teen, criminal record bearing adult. But after a 10 year prison stint, some soul searching and much prayer, in 2014 Sam returned to the streets with the same principles but different applications. He started dating his now wife Erica Morris in 2015 and attending church at LifeSong Ministries International. With the lifestyle change he went from pushing drugs to pushing hope. “There is more to life than selling dope! You just have to be willing to work hard and wait patiently.” He is the father of three amazing children. He now owns a lawn care and a pressure washing business, as well as works for H&P Inc, a drilling rig company. Born from a dream, hard work and dedication does pay off.
