This week Burke speaks with psychologists and authors Dr. Joe Trunzo and Julie Luongo about the long-term psychological effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It would be naive to assume that the COVID-19 pandemic won't have long-term effects on everybody who is alive to experience it, a lockdown of this caliber hasn't been seen by any generation around today.

Children have learned to either go to school virtually or clad in masks, living their most influential years indoors without seeing their teachers and friends faces Social butterflies have been struck with cabin fever, being obligated to stay in their homes for the greater good, while doctors and nurses on the front lines have been facing a wave nonstop wave of constant danger, ignorance, and extreme depression caused by mountains of stress.

Despite the undeniable physical ramifications of the pandemic, some will be left socially and mentally changed forever.
